Christmas Eve in the Log Cabin 2009

Luke loves looking at his feet. Picture everyone took as Luke got his first toy, He yelled and scream and was so excited. For only 4 months old he had to look over every gift and unwrap every gift. This child is prefect in every way and so smart.....

Message from Kelly 5/8/2007

A Soldier's Message to Mom by Kelly Seibert 5/8/07

I joined the military

at a very young age,

I signed up for adventure

and to make a good wage

I knew you'd be worried

that's how it's always been,

even when I was 16

and would go out with my friends

But to serve our great country

as my forefathers have,

I've always wanted to be special...

just like my dad

When I put on my uniform

I smile with such pride,

I've made my decision

now I'm in for the ride

I have no regrets but

I admit that I'm scared,

I'll miss all of my family

and all those who care

I realize the risks

I understand danger,

if I don't make it back

please don't live with anger

Please bury my body

or my ashes down deep,

have a service of laughter

and don't cry when you sleep

Rejoice that I was able

to do what I did,

fight for my country

so others might live

So enjoy this fine nation

don't sit around and cry,

my spirit still lives

it never did die

I'm living through you,

dad and my brothers;

sister, please watch

over our mother

Don't let her mourn and

grieve through her life,

help her to be the best

mom, sister, and wife

Remember me by giving

others a hand,

especially those that came back

from far off Iran

Their lives have changed-

their bodies too,

I'll feel so much better

knowing they have all of you

So remember me with love

and not just with anger,

spread joy in your lives

and be kind to a stranger

My only regret is causing

you pain,

I'm so sorry for that

I take all the blame

Please feel my hug mom

as I dry away your tears,

you have lots more love to give...

no more living in fear.
